At Veteran Mentors, we understand that the journey to positive change doesn’t end when the camp does. Our new Parent Support Program is designed to keep the momentum going and support families to implement the powerful transformations experienced in the JLP Program and Parent Workshop into their everyday lives.
This program consists of 1:1 call packages designed to facilitate parents in building skills, so they can strengthen how they support their child. It’s about empowering parents and their children to grow together, fostering relationships that are stronger, happier, and healthier. Whether you’ve attended our Parent Workshop or not, this program is for families committed to long-term growth and creating tools for life.
Sustained Growth
We support you to build on the positive changes your child experienced during the JLP Program. This is your opportunity to work with your child to keep the momentum alive and see those changes flourish in your daily life.
Strengthening Bonds
Our focus is on enhancing the relationship between you and your child. We support you in shifting away from always addressing problems and move to strengthening the values and behaviours that will shape who your child becomes.

This program is about support and coaching, not counselling. We provide tools and habits that fit into your life, helping your family commit to positive change together.

NDIS funding is available under line item ‘Training For Carers/Parents’, ‘Training for carers in matters related to caring for a person with disability’, if the participant has funding in their plan under ‘Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living’.
